Alfa Laval Benelux Marine Days 2025
The Alfa Laval Benelux Marine Days is a space for inspiration, sharing, and action.
Join a select group of maritime leaders for an exclusive event designed to spark collaboration, showcase sustainable innovation, and share real-world knowledge.
Hosted in the dynamic setting of Damen Shiprepair & Conversion in Schiedam, with only 30 companies and around 60 participants, this is a rare opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations that move our industry forward.
This is an invitation-only event with limited capacity. If you're a shipowner, ship manager, or part of a design & engineering bureau in the Benelux region and would like to attend, please reach out to your Alfa Laval contact or get in touch here to request an invitation.
Speaker Highlights
We’re bringing together thought leaders and industry experts who are driving change in the maritime world. Expect a 360° perspective, generated by practical insights and inspiring stories from different industry stakeholders: classification bureaus, end users, design and engineering bureaus, technology providers and shipyards.
Kate Schrøder Jensen - Regulatory Affairs Specialist Alfa Laval
Working as Alfa Laval’s specialist in marine emissions regulations and liaison with IMO since 2010, Kate Schrøder Jensen is uniquely qualified to clear up rumours and confusion around compliance in the maritime industry. Kate is a development engineer with a degree in thermal energy and a specialization in exhaust gas cleaning. She acts as a bridge between technical development and regulatory compliance, attending IMO meetings, reviewing guidelines, and advising legislators. Her work is crucial in helping shipowners and Alfa Laval stay ahead of evolving environmental regulations while ensuring that technological solutions are both effective and compliant.

Annet Koster - Director of the Royal Association of Dutch Shipowners (KVNR)
Annet Koster is the Director of the Royal Association of Dutch Shipowners (KVNR) since 2018, working to strengthen the Dutch maritime shipping industry. In recognition of her efforts to support seafarers during the COVID-19 pandemic, she was awarded the honorary title “Port Woman of the Year” by the city of Rotterdam in 2020. Annet will moderate the panel discussion at the end of the day, joined by shipowners, design engineers, and technology providers from the maritime sector.
